I’ve always liked to stop my nails since I was a teenager. It’s part of my style, and it’s hard to be without it these days. Varnished nails brighten up, and bring a nice addition to your outfit. It can subtly emphasize the detail of an outfit, such as a shirt pattern or earrings. Nail polish brings a nice spice to your dress.

Nail polishes come in many different colors from side to side and are sold from supermarkets to specialty stores. There are also a lot of different brands of nail polishes, and this time I stopped my own nails with Essien varnish. The prices of nail polishes vary, and the cheapest ones are around a couple of euros. The most expensive were in the 30e category (I checked the prices on the websites of Prisma, Sokos and Stockmann).

Of course, everyone chooses nail polish according to their own preferences. In the summer, however, I think it’s nice to use slightly brighter colors. They cheer up and bring a good mood, even on a slightly rainier day. Admittedly, even earthy and light shades are always a good choice, and they go any way you like.

I myself finished my nails with this kind of orange varnish. The color is “sunday funday” (Essie). I remember the color of summer in particular, and the sandy beaches. Personally, I’m not very tanned (yet), but the color would certainly go well with tanned skin as well.

I first cleaned the old varnishes off with nail polish remover. I put it on a cotton swab and cleaned my nails so that there was no old varnish left. I then gently shook the bottle, and I wiped my nails thoroughly once with varnish, and then a second time. I let the varnish dry in peace, and below you can see before after the pictures of my nails.
